The Probate Act Book, 1665 to 1674 [YMA, L1/1b], has been indexed and is available on a CD that accompanies Yorkshire Probate, Colin Blanshard Withers, 2007. This has been searched, and only one entry for Bubwith was found:

Court of the Dean and Chapter of York

Archiepiscopal jurisdiction was exercised by the Dean and Chapter of York during vacancies of the see, i.e the time between one Archbishop dying, or leaving office, and the next Archbishop being enthroned. All the vacancies have been indexed below, with the exception of the vacancies of 1464-1465, 1530-1531, 1544-1545, 1554-1555, 1559-1561, 1568-1570, 1576-1577, 1588-1589, 1660, and 1664. I have checked these for any Bubwith wills, and found just two entries:

In addition to their vacancy jurisdiction, the Dean and Chapter exercised jurisdiction over the mediety (half) of the rectory, and over sixteen tenements in Breighton, Willitoft and Harlethorpe.

The Probate Registers 1321-1558, Probate Act Book 1560-1636 and Original documents 1383-1724 have been indexed in, Index of Wills etc. from the Dean and Chapter's Court, 1321-1636, and an index to Original Wills, 1524-1724, YASRS, Volume XXXVIII, 1907. This volume has been checked and there were nineteen wills proved and one administration granted for people of Bubwith, the first being in 1439 and the last in 1585. This total included five vicars (these five were all presented by the Dean and Chapter). No surnames were repeated.




Since the above index was published in 1907 a much more thorough index to the original probate documents of the Dean and Chapter Court has been created. While some names from the preceding index are repeated much is new. The Index is not published but can be consulted on the open shelves at the Borthwick. Here are all the Bubwith extractions:
